Mary.k.crawford

Mary K. Crawford is an unsung hero.  Very little in the way of her personal life seems to have survived the years.  But her great work of documenting an awesome move of God has survived to this day.  In some circles it is known, but in much of the world the news has still not spread!

We Mary to thank for a marvelous report on a grand revival that too place in the northern parts of China almost a hundred years ago.  Mary was a missionary in China in the early years of the 20th century.  We are forever grateful to her, for she faithfully recorded the events that played out before her.  She wrote an open and thorough summary of the events shortly after they took place.  She did not hold back on the Holy Spirit realities of the revival.  The Shantung Revival by Mary K. Crawford, was originally written in 1933.

Mary Crawford served with the North China Mission of the Southern Baptist Convention.  Her book is a compilation of true miraculous stories, many authenticated by responsible and reliable missionaries, that occurred during the revival in the Shantung region of North China, during the years 1930-1933.

This marvelous work of the Holy Spirit of God has had a profound effect on the Southern Baptists ministry in China at the time, and on readers ever since.

For example, we are not aware of any extant photographs of this wonderful servant of God.
